Summer fun
Well it’s back and it sure is going to be a while before the fall again, summers here. Time to forget about all your worries and head for the beaches for the weathers hot and the best way to beat it is to get wet with splashing your pals at the beach under the hot summer sun. More time with your family and not enough time to do all the things you want to do with them. So enjoy this summer while it last because before you know it, it’ll already be fall.
Rays are 1st place so far, but no support from fans
So far the Tampa Bay Rays have been 1st place this whole season and been playing some good games but their fans won’t support them. It’s just confusing, where are the rays getting their encouragement? Would encouragement make you play better and with out cheers the rays can still play just fine. The rays are continuing their streak with going on ahead with no fan support.
What’s so silly about silly bands?
Kids all over the place are obsessed with silly bands and they have very many silly bands. when in my opinion they’re just shaped rubber bands, everyone else seems to take a liking towards the silly bands. People may have up 2 as much as 20 or more bands on their arms at a time and love to trade them with others. I know that lots of people like the silly bands, but I’m not going to catch on with it.
Bottom of the 20th
When I was watching t.v. late at night yesterday, I happened to be flipping the channels at I saw the 10 o’clock news but it wasn’t the news that was on, it was a long overtime baseball game between the New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals. It was bottom of the 16th inning and I notice it was a tie game, 0 – 0.
It just so happened to catch my attention of watching a late overtime game and seeing that the game time was a whole 6 hours and a half before it ended. While I was watching the announcers had told us 3 things you could do in under 3 hours, fly from Miami to Seattle, cook a 12 – 18 lbs turkey, and watch the 6 last episodes of 24.
The game finally got a score in the 19th inning one for each team and then in the 20th, the Mets score again and win the game it was a long game, sort of like 3 games for the price of one!

Random Automotive Fact
German engine designer and automobile engineer Karl Benz Invented the first practical automobile in 1885. His Father died when Karl was only 2 years old and before his father’s death, his last name was Vaillant but changed it to Benz after his father’s death. He had lived his life in near poverty with only his mother to support him and help him get a good education from school. Benz originally focused his studies on locksmithing and eventually followed his father’s footsteps.
On September 30, 1860, at age fifteen, he passed the entrance exam for mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, which he subsequently attended. Benz was graduated July 9, 1864 at nineteen. During those years, while riding his bicycle, he envisioned concepts for a vehicle which would later become the horseless carriage. Benz generally was regarded as the inventor of the gasoline-powered automobile and pioneering founder of the automobile manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz.
The popular story about this first long distance automobile trip is that, supposedly without the knowledge of her husband, on the morning of August 5, 1888, Bertha Benz took this vehicle on a 106 km (65 mile) trip from Mannheim to Pforzheim to visit her mother, taking her sons Eugen and Richard with her. In addition to having to locate fuel at pharmacies on the way, she also overcame various technical and mechanical problems and finally arrived at nightfall, announcing the achievement to Karl by telegram. It had been her intention to demonstrate the feasibility of using her husband’s invention for travel and to obtain publicity that would make more people aware of it.
Benz’s Model 3 made its wide-scale debut to the world in the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris, and about twenty-five Motorwagens were built between 1886 and 1893.
Baseball Game
Today when I went to a baseball game here in St. Petersburg, FL, I was at the Tropicana Stadium and the home team was the Rays playing against the away team, the Orioles. It was the top of the 2nd inning and one of the Orioles was up at bat. The Rays pitcher throws the ball and the batter hits a home run along the 3rd baseline.
We all know people try to get a home run ball after it’s hit for a souvenir, well this one person gets the ball and everyone around them was shouting “Throw the ball back!” After a moment’s quick hesitation, they threw the ball back onto the field. Right at that moment, people around the stadium were cheering for their “Heroic actions” one could say.

And when I drove up to the pick up window, I got my Oreo mcflurry and they gave me an m & m mcflurry too. I asked about my hot fudge sundae and they noticed they forgot it, so they made me a hot fudge sundae and Igot to keep the m & m mcflurry for free!
